Learn about the French Kings & Queens and their way of life in the splendid Château de Chantilly.

A visit of Chantilly is the perfect option to get out of the hustle and bustle of Paris and experience the charming French countryside. It is close to Paris and yet it’s green and refreshing.

Chantilly is an authentic French town made famous by its Royal Château, crème Chantilly and the intricate laces of Chantilly. It is suited for couples as well as for families and groups of friends.

In the morning, visit the Chantilly Castle, home to France’s second largest ancient art collection after the Louvre. Admire the beautiful works of many master artists such as Raphael and Delacroix.

For lunch, many options are available in and around the castle whether it’s La Capitainerie for a typical French lunch or le Café des Ecuries for a quick bite.

After lunch, enjoy a horse show in the live horse museum, which is set in the ancient stable of the Castle.

Finish your visit with a stroll (or promenade, as the French call it) in the gardens of the Château where your senses can savour the breathtaking work of André Le Nôtre, the famous landscape architect who designed the gardens of Versailles and Fontainebleau. The gardens of Chantilly are said to have been his favourite work and the water features are a must-see.

Spend a luxurious night in one the magnificent properties located in Chantilly: Auberge du Jeu de Paume, Château Hôtel Mont Royal, Château de Montvillargenne
